I've been going out with this girl for 5 months now. When we first started going out, we talked constantly on the phone. Now, there are some pauses in our conversations. How can I get that back to talking The two of you have talked so much, that there is less and less to say. I'm guilty too. I remember just hanging on the phone for hours, several times a day, every day! Sooner or later, one of us became bored, and things went downhill. I suggest that you and she decide to reduce the phone conversations.

Reduce them so that when you do talk, you'll have more to say, and so that neither of you becomes bored with the other.
